I used to shoot a 7RUM and always used Retumbo under 180 VLDs. For the lighter bullets H1000 would probably work great.

I didn't see a tested Huskemaw in any of his post. I have always had confidence in mine but this now has me wondering 🤔

I still like the Huskemaw 5x20 for hunting purposes. It has decent glass, very reliable, and it's a very easy to use system.

How much will a dimple like this effect accuracy when it's on the shoulder? I ran 20 pieces of brass neck sizing before I noticed it. Pretty much the same dimple on all of them. Upon inspection I had somehow gotten a kernel of powder in the die.

I think my smith said PTG but I could be mistaken 🤔. My boattail taper is above the top of the case shoulder but I have never measured the neck grip.

My CBTO with the 175 EH is 2.678 which gives me a jump of .007 With 68.0 of H1000 I'm at 2930 velocity. Even though my loading and shooting skills are very modest it's holding right at .5 moa out to 700 yes which is the farthest that I have tried yet. I tried up to 69.5 grains but was losing...

I will be trying my new 7PRC this fall with Berger 175 EH on a big bull hopefully. I settled in at 2930 velocity with 86 gr H1000 from 24" tube. First time hunting with the 175 EH but have taken several bulls and bucks with the 180 vld and they have always been drt.
