Hello,
I shot my Rem Model 700 .300 WinMag several times without a break and zeroed it at 200 yds. Then I installed a Grizzly Gun works break and when I shot the 200 yd. target it appeared to be 1.5 in. high. Does anyone have any experience with a POI raising that much after installing a break...
Thank you ATTISTUDE for your service. You have sacrificed much for us and we appreciate it. We thank you, all those that gave and the ones left behind this Memorial Day.
Hey Guys In KS,
I live in KC and am looking for a place to shoot 800-1200 yds. in Central KS. My son and I have shot long range in Bartlesville, OK but really need someplace closer.
Thanks,
Dan
I live in Kansas and have for 35 years. Most of that time has been out west in Dodge City. I now live in the Kansas City Area. The way of life in Western KS sounds like what you are looking for. I'd be glad to answer any questions you might have. Best wishes.
I have several .280s and I love them. I have a Rem Model 700. When my son became old enough to shoot I bought him a .280 Win Model 70. When my grandson turned 2 (I know, a little young to shoot a .280) I bought in a Rem CDL .280. It was their featured caliber in 2011 I believe. I love that caliber.
Something you might want to consider is proof of sex. Last year my son and I shot buck antelope in CO and took quarters, back straps and tenderloins in the field without proof of sex. When leaving the ranch a warden stopped us and we both got tickets.
