I spoke to leupold last month about a VX-R that was not a CDS model and they said that I would have to send it in to have it retrofitted for a CDS in order to use a custom dial. I think they said it would cost $75 to have it retrofitted plus what it costs for the dial.

They aren't illuminated. The one he is referring to are the newest models which are the vx-3i. I can't find any info about them. I had posted about them on another thread but nobody seems to know much about these scopes yet.

Anybody know anything about the new leupold vx-3i? Just saw some listed online for sale and I can't find any info about them anywhere on the web or any pictures for that matter.
