I have a lightweight 300 wm in a clymr stock. I previously had it in a manners mcs-t elite fill, and it is quite a bit nicer to shoot with the clymr. Seems like it reduced felt recoil and muzzle jump.
I really like the 8x32 ELs. I use them birding and sheep hunting. Wider fov than the 8.5x42 ELs. I’ll probably pick up some 10x42s someday to fill the gap between my 8x32 and 12x50, but if I’m backpacking I can’t imagine not grabbing the 8x32.
I called ADG the other day, and they recommend just loading them up out of the box. They seat bullets to check neck tension periodically in each lot. The primer pockets are tapered, so I don't think squaring them is a good idea.
374 yards, 300 win mag, Hammer Hunter 166. Double lung shot and just nicked a scapula. Only made it about five steps.
They shoot tiny groups too. Love these bullets.
