To answer your question, you can us the Wyatt's extended box for the short action Remington .260. I've used the 140 Bergers and 147 ELDM's in mine. Not sure how much longer bullets your looking for, but these work fine in the short action/Wyatt combo.

I have two 260's with Proof CF barrels. One is a 24" barrel and the other is 26". The 24" barreled gun shoots 140 Berger Hybrids at 2777 fps and the 24" rifle shoots the same load at 2850 fps. The extra two inches nets me a 73 fps increase. Hope this helps with your research, good luck.

I agree with Labaherd. I use 10x42's exclusively now. I was able to locate this buck with my 10x42's at 505 yards. The view is through my Vortex Razor spotter at 60x.

Planning on purchasing the app. Can you add states at any time?

I'm going in November for whitetail. Not really sure what to expect, but since I didn't draw anything this year I will give it a try.

Great report. That was going to be my next question. I have been using a G7 BC of .303. I have shot it out to 1025 yards and so far this has worked for me. Since I could not find any bullets to load I am using Nosler Trophy Grade 210 ABLR .300 RUM at an average muzzle velocity of 3027 fps.
