Minox Binoculars good glass or what?

You might want to check on Vortex while you're at it. Here's a review I did of the Minox and Razor a while back. http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f18/vortex-minox-bino-review-comparison-27747/

    Help me to choose caliber.

A 300WM is a good choice, especially if you plan to hunt moose with it. If this offers too much recoil with your 10-12 lb gun, the classic 30-06 would also be a good choice, but is often overlooked. I personally don't like muzzle brakes for the same reason you mention above. You already...

7mm rem mag vs 280 AI

If you're gonna shoot this long range, make sure you get a 1 in 9 twist barrel. You can push the lighter bullets faster, but bullets like the 180 Bergers and 175 SMKs will perform much better for you at distance.

    Nikon Buckmasters Scope

SC, the UCC Monarch is a better scope than the Buckmaster series. Not sure what the UCC stands for, but the Monarch series definitely has better glass. If you find one cheaper than the Buckmaster, jump on it.

    280 rem/162 A-MAX

I use them in my 7-08 and like them a lot. Good BC and very accurate. Probably do better in your 280 with the added velocity.

    Nickel Brass

I don't like it because it seems to not size as easily (not as flexible as regular brass) and it's harder to trim.

    CZ 550 Varminter .22-250

Great rifle. I've had one for about 4 or 5 years now and it consistently holds .3-.5 MOA accuracy using Varget and the 55gr Blitzkings. I use it as my primary groundhog gun and have taken hogs a little over 500yds with it so far. I would highly recommend it.

    Vortex & Minox Bino Review/Comparison

Gents, I posted this over at SH, but thought it might help some folks here as well. I recently went through the process of purchasing a good set of binos to upgrade from my older Nikon Tundras, which tend to give me a headache and crazy vision after a long glassing session. I didn't want to...

    Sierra blitzkings?

I've got a 1:12 22-250 as well, and the 55gr BKs are very accurate for long range varminting. They do a pretty nice job on the groundhogs as well. My rilfe will typically hold 1/3-3/8 MOA with these bullets loaded on top of a max charge of Varget. You shouldn't have a problem with them.

    Powder Scale or Measure?

Edge, it's very easy. With a twist of a knob on the side of the unit, all the powder drains from the hopper into your container. Since mine sits on the bench, I have to dump it into a shallower container and then back into the powder container. If you have it elevated or at the edge of your...

    22/250 loads needed

Varget shot slightly better for me than H380 and is less temp sensitive. My 22-250 shoots best using 55gr Blitzkings and a max charge of Varget. Haven't tried Bergers though.

    Specs on Bushnell 6500

I thought I saw somewhere that the first ones were coming in March, but I can't remember which model.

    New 300rum

Like stx said, shoot it and see what happens. My bone stock LSS shoots consistent 3/4 MOA. If you were going to shoot in matches, I would say have it worked over to allow for long sessions and many shots. But for hunting, it may be pretty decent already. Recoil is a bitch though. Like stx...

    Spidey ;)

We called them Banana Spiders as well. I remember growing up I would catch grasshoppers and throw them into the Banana Spider's web just to watch him do his thing. We fed a few all summer long and they were huge by the time fall arrived. We started out with small grasshoppers at first, but...
