Good binocular harness? What's everyone using?

Also I think they weigh around 2.5 pounds so they are NOT for hills or mountains.

Good binocular harness? What's everyone using?

Marsupial will NOT work with Porro Prism style binoculars.... Original poster was asking about Steiner 8x56 Porro prism. Its the old style with offset lenses. BUT they offer some of best low-light performance on the market vs. PRICE point. $749 for a binoc that will outperform $2500...

Good binocular harness? What's everyone using?

So what did you end up getting... I just ordered a set of Steiner 8x56 and decided to try OutdoorVisions XL. Not sure if they will fit? These are huge porro prism low light binoculars.

    I'm Done With Nosler Brass!

I have never had an issue with Nosler brass? It's head and shoulders above Rem, Horn, Win. Not as good as Lapua.

    Cold bore testing

Bumping this thread. I have been doing some cold-bore mapping. I place 2 targets at 500 yards. I warm up by firing other rifle first....and dry fire test rifle at least 10 times to get settled. I fire single shot at Target 1( cold bore) I then fire 3 at Target 2. I haven't finished testing...

Did berger change there packaging ?

Resurrecting this thread... Has anyone had to rework a load switching from "old" 7mm 168 VLDs to the new ones with revised b.c? I have 200 of old style...just got a new order and they came in yellow box and revised b.c

    Burris Eliminator 3 on Muzzleloader?

No problem. I bought for 7mm but I am going on Blackpowder Mule Deer hunt so wanted to use it for that. In the future I will look at the updated model good for low velocity.

    Burris Eliminator 3 on Muzzleloader?

I will try but do not think it will work... The first step to setting up scope is to zero it at 100 yards. Shoot it. Chronograph the load. Use a ballistic table or calculator and find your drop #(in inches) and enter B.C, drop # into scope. Next step would be to shoot at 600-700 yards and...

    Burris Eliminator 3 on Muzzleloader?

It's not about getting to 750 yards. You need the drop # for 750 yards to program the laser rangefinder to calculate and plot the aiming for. If you cartridge has more than 230" of drop at 750 yards then you cannot program the # 200116 model. The #200119 (newest model) has option for...

    Burris Eliminator 3 on Muzzleloader?

Honestly I bought it used for a good price just wanted to try it and see. Not sure IF I would ever buy updated model. Poor design because it should be like a G7 rangefinder where you plot all the variables. There's much more to long range than just b.c and bullet drop @ 750 yards?

    Burris Eliminator 3 on Muzzleloader?

I found my answer. The newer models 200119 will work with low velocity. My model is older model 200116....won't work and cannot be upgraded either. Dangit.

    Burris Eliminator 3 on Muzzleloader?

I was actually mistaken. It's 230" @ 750 for max drop #. Off their website.

    Burris Eliminator 3 on Muzzleloader?

This is quote off Burris website... The Eliminator 4-16x50 (Model #200119) has enhanced ballistic software that makes it a triple threat in the woods. Not only will it work for centerfire cartridges, but will now work on most rimfire, muzzleloader and slug guns as well. I was also mistaken as...
