Yeah, I'll keep the 30-06. I've traded away too many guns and regretted it later. The feedback seems pretty consistent that I should buy the 300 win mag, so I'll probably go with that. I'll poke my head back in after and let you know how it shoots... ;)

I think that is the only thing that is holding me back. The savage with everything is the better deal, but I'd rather it be a 700. That's what my 30-06 is...
