I agree. I don't even think factory offerings have as much as .01. I could be wrong tho. I want as little bit of case expansion as possible but still have reliable easy feeding.
Wondering how much is to much shoulder bump? Starting with fired brass and didn't have die set properly and some brass has .005 bump. I know i should only be bumping .002. My question is how much bump would be to much and cause case head separation or damage ? Cases are winchester brand in 243...

I've never used the ffp scopes but from what I've read they seem to be the way to go. There is no specific range I'm looking at. It will be dual purpose scope but mostly a deer hunting rifle that will be used at the range as well.
Thanks for the input fellas. As far as budget there isn't one yet. I am just getting a feel for what's out there. Glass is always such a subjective topic and I more interested in the durability side right now. The glass or view ,however you want to call it, can come after the durability boxes...
Ok I'm love my NXS for it holding zero and tracking. So I'm wondering if there is a cheap option out there that tracks and hold zero well. I know I will have to sacrifice glass quality going to cheaper glass. I can deal with lower quality picture just want the durability!
So this pretty much confirms to me that tikka is a much better option than the 700. Most of what I have seen around is that it's just a solid way for an average guy to swap thing around without alot of fuss.
