I have a 7mm-08 Ack Imp and a standard 7mm-08. I use h4350 and Berger 140 vld Hunting bullets in both. Great accuracy and performance in both rifles.

I recently changed my 700 from 22-250ai to a 1-8 22-250. I was tired of fire forming casings plus wanted higher bc bullets. I am now sending 75grn eldm's at 3300 fps from a 26" proof research sendero contour barrel. Solid 800yrd groundhog killer.

Diaphragm, my go to is the Toxic Orange by Woodhaven custom calls. I can do everything with this call, even used it as a squeeling distress call to dispatch two yotes.

Don't think that was a hunting bullet. I believe the vld hunting bullet start at .243 caliber.

Gunwerks has a video on youtube to determine your max powder charge and this is the method I use.

I am assuming that 25' is suppose to be 75' because the minimum distance is 25 yards not feet.

That is simply not true. Minimum distance is 25 yards from the road and you have to be at least 20 feet above the roadway to shoot across a roadway.

I have a custom 7mm Rem Mag with a long throat that I use 80 grn of 50bmg to push 168grn bergers at 3130fps and it has single digit velocity spreads and is very accurate.

My buddy has a light weight storm in the same caliber. Tried 3 different factory loads and nothing was smaller than 3" at 100yrds. I loaded him 140grn hunting vld with H4350 and .010" off the lands. His storm had a mag length of just over 3" so there was plenty of room to fit in the mag. Used 3...
