I'm doing a backpack hunt this year in Colorado GMU 43 and saw you may have hunted that area. I'll be in for 2nd rifle (bull) and 3rd rifle (cow) and wondering if you might be able to share any of your experiences with the area.
I'm focusing my scouting on the areas to the east of Mt Sopris (north and south for several draws), along Avalanche creek and around Avalanche Pass, and maybe even the areas west of redstone by Assignation ridge and the western boundry. Appreciate any experience you may be able to provide!!
