I'm about to get a reamer ground and I need advice on freebore. I want to run the 180's at a COAL of 2.960" out of the modded AI mags. Does anyone have any idea what freebore I would need?

Hoarding isn't part of the problem. It is the problem. Get what you need and leave the rest. We're in this mess because other shooters have lost it.

There's a period in the spring when there is no daily bag limit. You have to really be angry to kill that many. Well, not so much kill as pick up and clean. Killing is the easy part.

I use 82gr of H1000 and 84gr of Retumbo with 210's. With CCI primers both yield just over 3000fps depending on temp. With Fed GMM primers velocities increase 30-50fps.

I've thought about this round before. What velocities can be obtained with 240's?

Those are starting points. Such is any recommended load. You will have to do your own homework no matter how many people tell you what to load. Every gun is different.

Does anyone have any load info for a 22-243AI 8 twist. I'm going to try 80's in amax vld and smk.

That's a lot of powder just to run 3000. I'm getting just over 3000 with 80gr of H-1000 and 210's. I've been thinking about a 30-378, but I was hoping it was good for 3000 with 240's.

I'm using 82gr of Retumbo behind the 210vld. As always work up, and jyour mileage may vary.

I shot a whitetail last year under 100yds with a 210vld running a tad over 3000fps. The shock from the bullet broke the opposite side rib cage. The bullet did not exit and the deer never moved, it just fell over on it's side. IMO they work well at close range.

Acherytalk is very good for info, but I get tired of the martin machine that runs it. Same goes for the bowtech supporters over there. Nothing against either bow. I just prefer unbiased opinions. I prefer eliteachery.com and their forums.
