I was able to find a press. I am currenty holding for more funds to come. I finally found a job. I've been working for a week now. I will let you guys know when my search continues...Thanks.
That sucks...How long are you laid off for? Is work drying up in Milw. also?
I went and took the pistol range curse so now I can go there any time I want. I am actualy tempted to trade my Mossy 835 deer/turkey combo for a 20 ga. semi auto for trap and skeet. I don't hunt so the 835 isn't needed.
Since I'm not loading yet, I really shouldn't but anything other than the equipment. I coaxed the wife into letting me get the Lyman 49th edition manual. There is a ton of good knowledge in there. No work is the worst thing I have ever had to endure. I'm sick of penny pinching.
Rem 6 1/2 and 9 1/2 in stock. Also large pistol CCI 400s. Was just there tonight at 8pm. I know you were looking for large rifle...thought I'd let you know.
How many 400s were left? Did you notice they were in the wrong cabinet? Thats the powder only cabinet. I was going to Cabela's in du Chein tomorrow, but that got cancelled. Finding reloading manuals around here is impossible. Gander wants $40 for the Nosler #6 where as Cabela's wants $20...
Outlet?? I only know of the new big store on the north side of town(Token Creek/Deforest). I didn't see Varget. I can go there again if you need me to look for something in particular.
The only local place around me to stock these is Gander. I went there and they had 2. Neither looked great but the Nosler manual was ok. From experience, what have you guys found most useful to an entry level reloader?
If anyone has anything they want to sell let me know. I have to start...
