I've had good luck just using the AB custom curve, that doesn't actually show a BC. I was really impressed with this feature. Time will tell what AB says in it's data, I just home its discernable.

This worries me a little bit. When my kestrel gets updated with the new tip, will my BCs for the Hornady bullets be off? I bought a lot of them for a couple of rifles so I wouldn't run out. Are there going to be an ELD-X/M flat tip and round tip options? Berger had it right the whole time...

I agree with others. I've used a lot of the CCI 250s and would go that route if you have them. I also have a bunch of the Federal 215Ms that I use. For the most part all of my primers are CCIs though, there's a few thousand of the Federals scattered about when that's what I could find.

If there’s not space for the tang to settle into the stock it could cause consistency issues, this could be ignition or recoil. I’d remove some material and then bed it so it’s a perfect fit. Does it just seem like it’s sticking out too much?

Yeah, during archery season I can usually go quite a few days in one pair of socks, so long as I can dry them out at night I will keep wearing them.
