I shot an Ibex at 834 yds with a 6.5 creed. That’s the furthest I have taken game. Several animals in the 700 yd range though. Some of these guys can just shoot crazy distances accurately.

I carried a Glock 10mm for brown bear and felt safe with it. I shot it well and had plenty of rounds compared to my 6”44 revolver.

I have had the 7 STW, 280, 7mag, 7WSM and now the 7PRC. I really like the 7 mag, which I still have and the 7 WSM. However, I just picked up a TS Customs 7 PRC and really like it. I think it’s becoming my go to 7mm.

No, I have never had game that close. Shots ranged from 75 yds to 812 yds

I have used 250 grain Berger’s on Elk and large African non dangerous game. They have worked great out of my 338 Rum @ 3020 fps.

I would build the 280 AI or 6.5 AI. You’ll be happy with either.
