For 3 days i like around 5k . depending on the pack setup I will put my food in a bag and carry it in the load sling until I get to camp. I plan on eating all my food so on the way out I put the empty bag in the main bag and hopefully a dead animal in the load sling.

I'm running 66.5 of h4831 in a sherman max with 151 Cayuga. That loads 3189 fps the prc has more capacity. You should get more out of it.

I loaded them in the special.

It took some work to get the barnes to work at special velocity. I don't want a exit with the dogs around. I have now moved to a 50 cal. But the 44 kills great. The bear I shot with a 1894 marlin bullet worked great there too.
