So, are you shooting 3 shot groups? Sorry, just trying to grasp what you mean by "2 and 1 groups". If so, does your bolt have an extractor claw? and are you feeding all 3 rounds with the bolt vs feeding 2 and hand feeding the third? ...just another element to think about.

Looks like good shooting to me. I would keep shooting before I condemned a scope.

Take the rifle down and look at its bedding job. I bet they just bedded the recoil lug.

If you look at the bottom side of your barrel right where it screws into the action you will see the recoil lug, that fits down into your stock. Lug is a weird name for it....It's just a square piece or "lug"of steel that stops the action from riding back in the stock upon recoil. With a good...

67.5g....I worked it up, but velocities will vary with the rifle. I imagine it's close to 3000fps. I have always used Winchester large magnum primers and usually Remington brass. it is a subMOA load from my model 70, at about 3" at 350 yards. The load doesn't work so well in a friends Abolt.

H4350, and 180g Hornady Interbonds....About to start looking into some harder bullets.
