For coyotes this season I will be using a Tikka T 3 in .223. Saving hides, so using a Hornady 55gr. V-max. Wolves are becoming numerous in my area, wondering if the V-max has enough stopping power. Other rifle is a Hells Canyon Speed in 6.5 Creed moor using 139gr. Lapua Scenars.

I like the robust magazine. Have a few Tikkas, great accurate rifles, but the Browning seems to fit better. Caliber is 6.5mm CM. 139 Lapua Scenars for wolves, and coyotes this season.

Recently moved to the Nicola Valley in B.C. Wide open spaces, coyotes are in abundance! Local rifle range is 500meters. Trying to develop 6mm/284 long range loads using 95-105 gr. bullets. Any tips would be welcome.
