Now that's funny, I don't care who you are!!
The funniest part is that I've got one and it is amazingly accurate. I have no intention of shooting an elk with it and I don't care. I have better rifles in the quiver for elk. It fills the 6.5 nitch and I'd buy one again no matter what the haters...
Ok. Thanks Dover.
I was looking to turn this into a varmint rifle on the cheap.
After further review....it may be more cost effective to just sell it and buy what I want.

I have a blued ABolt in .308 that's been in the safe for years. I'm thinking of changing barrels to make it a 22/250 as the bolt face is the same. I see MGW has OEM prefits that are for an ABolt ll. My question is: Will it fit an original ABolt action? How about an XBolt barrel fitting?
Thanks...

I did kill 3 or 4 mule deer with that bullet and they always performed well for me. I like Barnes bullets. I believe their marketing about going with a little lighter...
I've been working up a load with the 190 ABLR's in my .300 WSM. It's showing a lot of promise. I've been running 68 grains of H4831SC. The Nosler book shows 69gr as max..
It's shooting .5 moa. and I'm getting 2915 fps. I think I'm going to drop back a little because it's pretty tightly...
Hi Mossyhorn,
I recommended you watch Sam at Panhandle Precision on YouTube (I have no affiliation). He really walks you through precision reloading. he is very knowledgeable and has a good, down home presentation.
FWIW, I just bought a MEC reloading press to replace an RCBS rockchucker that...
I would think you should have the magazine worked over to accommodate your brass. If you keep bumping the brass back you'll have too much head space and end up with case head separation. I've been schooling up on too much head space after I started to get some separation signs.
