I've purchased thousands of "Seconds". I'll weigh, measure length, measure Ogive and double check size and check hollow point opening... I've found the ones that match my regular shooting bullets, shoot great. I wouldn't trust em in a competition, but for warm up, break in and just pure fun...

I have the Howa Grendel Heavy 20" Barrel. Spooky accurate with every reload... 90 TNT's, 120 Speer, 123 SST and 120 Noslers. I give a nod to the 120-123 grains. The 129's are dead on but give up a little speed in mine. I love the short action ! Soft shooting.

Grew up shooting M77 22-250. Whistle Pigs and crows feared that Ruger ! Then came a Savage .204 with 39 Sierras...Wow ! Uncle passed and left me his #1 Bull Barrel 22-250 and 60 handloads...My love for the .22 returned. Great round !

You can't go wrong. Pay no attention to the price, they shoot better than most can hold and if you scratch it..Big Deal ! Great guns for 100-250 yard hunting. Probably not my choice for Long range or firing a thousand rounds but that's not what they were built for ... I've reloaded for 22-250...
