I agree with Predator. Fine someone to mentor you that is relatively close. Most reloaders and shooters or more than happy to share what we know and love. It is a blast to help new shooters learn what we know. Good luck and good shooting.

I like the standard 270 Winchester. Loads easy and hard to beat when it comes to killing animals. I have taken several elk with Barnes TSX bullets and all have been one shot kills. Most have been DRT or at least fell in sight.

I am interested in a 6.5 257 Weatherby. Has anyone made one of these? What are some of your loads?
