was planning on trying them all the way out to my current limit of 1150 before I tried them on anything I plan on putting in the freezer, was just curious as to what I could expect more than anything. Have only second hand knowledge of them, just been sitting in my gun room looking sad and left...

Have been shooting the gen 2 OTM 300 grain hybrids out of my .338 lapua out as far as 1150 yards with very pleasing success so far. Even have taken an cow elk and a nice black bear with them (373 on the elk and 469 on the bear) I have 180 of the gen 1's that I think I'm going to start loading...

I cant remember exactly what his set up was but it was a 7mm rem mag I'm pretty sure. I had messaged him on you tube several years back when it first came out. Exit wound on cow elk taken with .338 300grn gen 2 OTM. No tip modification done. Range was 373 yards with mv of 2835

358 Norma Mag loaded with 225 grain Game Kings. Have also taken a bull with a .270 win but to be honest I feel that was kind of light for the job, only reason I took the shot was because hunting partner was there backing me up with his 338Win mag

I hunt a lot of 1-2 year old cutblocks as well as on the river banks. I have had opportunity to take well over 700 yard shots but have passed on them due to not everything being right. I think the longest I have taken a moose at is just shy of the 400 mark but most to be honest are a lot closer...

Depends I guess on what you want to use it for, hunting or targer or both. Actually I guess this is one of those personal preference type questions:)

I think its 70,but to be honest I'm not positive on that. Mine is the picket fence style reticle so I also have another 32 MOA available there. I guess I should have been more specific with my answer and state that I havnt shot that far with it yet, only been to 1150 with it so far shooting but...
