Starting my 300 Ham'r bolt gun with 18" barrel. I know most use CFE Blk and 1680. I have been trying IMR4198 for now because already have on hand. I working with 125, 130 , and 150 gr bullets. What other powders you tried ? Varget, RL15 ? Thanks

Like everyone's suggestions here. Some boars can become very smart. It is good that he is "local" and not a traveler just passing thru. Some boars can have a very large home range. Scouting to find his travel pattern, water hole or rubbing post/tree away from the feeder will help you catch him...
