27 nosler seems to me old school. kind of like weatherby. im not knocking either or. i love bot weatherby and nosler but that is a big magnumed 270. i thought picking one up just to grab a factory rifle with a faster twist rate but really wanted a 270 wsm.

Yes. So many options. I may just wait until a later time (few weeks) to keep saving and keep looking. At 10+lbs. my 300 will need a lighter scope or I will but a lighter rifle. I think the vanguard and Leupold would be nice set up in 257w or idk. A tikka In 6.5prc? Or.... I just don’t know

they might... ill have to look into it. they have a 6.5-300 weatherby but that is alot of over bore and not a target rifle at all in my opinion

I had something similar happen with 223. I came to a conclusion of choice of powder. And not enough powder. Starting up work loads I have only ever seen it on the low charge end of the spectrum. I am no expert. But I changed primers and cases. So I suptracted 10% Starting charge and got that on...
