My cousin used one on elk hunt in CO this past season. He said the rifle was accurate, but didn't feed well at all . Took a nice 6x6 at 480yds. with it.
Have to go where the money is...simple numbers game. Anything .30 caliber and under will sell much better. I just hope they get around to bringing it out eventually.
Very good choice cole you can't go wrong with either regardless of what some may say. Load a premium bullet of acceptable weight like a partition or Barnes TSX and you and your son will be fine...Good Luck:D

Anything the 7mm RM will do at the 300 the 08 will do at 200
