have some new brass and was ready to reload ,, but , in checking case necks found some were ?? either out of round or and thicker on one side than the other , should new cases be neck turned when they are new OR after they have been fired once ???

I’ve been following this thread, as I am also trying to figure out and properly neck size a couple of rifles, a couple of posts back someone said it didn’t effect the. ES / SD. , what does es/ sd mean ?

i am also getting ready to do some load development , but i'm a greenhorn , where does one start , do you choose a bullet brand or weight , then try different powders , then try different powder loads , what is the correct procedure to get the best combo that works in a particular gun ,

i like that suggestion , where would a guy find out where any of these matches are in the northeast ??

i am somewhat new to reloading, but just reloaded some once fired nosler brass in 7 STW and ran the cases through a neck sizing die , the bullets were seated in my rockchucker press and seamed to go in quite tight , then i reloaded some new nosler brass that said ( brass ready to load ) and the...

i would love to try getting close to the lands , but i have tried most every bullet available for the 7 STW , with max COAL for my mag. at 3.645,,,, many are at least .200 off the lands , some are .250 ,, that is 1/4 inch !!! do you think i should get a barrel custom made >????

i'm a little new to this reloading , been shooting ammo of the shelf with less that acceptable results ,, now trying to load some accurate ammo ,but can not get less than .200 to .250 jump with any bullet i have tried and still have the shell fit in the mag ,, i'm thinking my barrel is out to...

I'm also looking for a new scope for my 7 STW , i'm curious why no one is talking about a swarovski , i now have a nightforce varminter 3.5 -15 but the clarity leaves a little to be desired , any recommendations for the best power and also what scope has the best clarity for long range shooting ??
