I emailed them recently inquiring when they were going to do a run of either 280 AI, or 270 win, all they said was that they are doing their best to keep up with demand, no ETA was ever mentioned.

I would go steel all the way, I have spent hundreds on aluminum bases that will work great until they don’t, and it’s always in the worst spot. After having several failures in not so nice spots I go steel for everything.

According to Berger, max load data is 83.5, but I have found a lot of there data on the low side, I am several grains higher, but work up slowly

I have a savage GRS in 6mm Creedmoor, and I have noticed that after I clean the barrel I will have pressure signs, but after 5 or so shot all signs of pressure signs will disappear. All I can figure is that the tool marks increase pressure until a copper smooths the barrel out.

If your at lower elevations the recommended twist rate is still not enough, always error on side of caution and drop down one weight class

What would be a reasonable priced, lightweight replacement stock for it.
