For those that claim that hunting wolves will not put a dent in the population, please consider this: how was it that the old timers and homesteaders managed to nearly eradicate wolves from the area? Anyone I've talked to said they just up and shot every wolf they saw.

I chose the sst's because i can group them well at 200 yards, and in the area I hunt, its possible to be taking shots from 20 yards out to 300 yards. Have to try the BTSP's and make my own judgement I guess.

pierced primers is one good indicator. another is difficulty extracting brass. watch the shoulder area and just in from of the extraction groove for stretching too. you should be able to see bright, shiny bands or lines in the brass if the pressure becomes excessive.
