    17HMR has put down every coyote I have shot with it. The dogs around here are of medium size. I have seen just as many run after being Shot with a .223 Continuing debate over the little 17. Just racism:D

    This thread is older ,But I can put people on the Dogs up here in Whatcom County. I like to use my Crossman 177 Caliber PelletGun.It really smacks the hell out of them....:cool:

    Here in WhatcomCounty GMUS 407 The Coyotes see to be medium sized. I have killed more Coyotes with one round over twenty times. Using CCI 20 grain most within 150 yards head or chest shots. I have had a few run 30 or so yards then drop. I know the majority of people will not use a 17 hmr...
