I had bypass surgery August 2019 , went back to work Oct 6. Missed deer season that fall as still in cardio rehab. By Feb of 2020 I was back to shooting .30-06 again. Talk frankly with cardio doc and also how you are feeling. Good Luck

I finally shot my .338 today, I did not find the recoil to be enough to need a brake unless I were to shoot 50-60 rds off the bench

Now that is funny

I am still interested, and I would pick age 30 to stay at LOL

I have never really found anything in the local Dicks store and I will never purchase anything from them

I do not finance guns, well sort of. Any Scheels purchase over $500 using their card is 6 months same as cash. Although I have the money in hand I still use this feature. Also use my Cabelas card for the points and then purchase firearms with this. I would never long term 12-36 months any hobby...

I just bought my first .338 win mag a used model 70 extreme stainless. All the info here is great I have been shooting a model 70. .308. Hope I can manage the recoil of this .338. I really like the looks of this new to me rifle. Although I wish I could have found one in a smaller caliber!
