    For 500 yards and under 225gr. Hornady Interlocks will do the trick. Loaded for years in two 338's even used in Africa on plains game hunt no issues and good accuracy.

    338 Win Mag loads

    225 Hornady's 71.5 grs IMR 4350 in a older Savage 110, 210grs Barnes TTSX with 73.3grains IMR 4350 in Weatherby Vanguard wood stock model used in Africa mid October temps up to 90F. No temperature issues. Both loads .5" or less at 100 yards.

    338 win mag

    Barnes 210gr. works great for me. Shot probably a dozen or so animals. Six in Africa up to eland. performance was very good.

    Have a couple T3's not the T3X. Very much like them a T3Lite in 6.5x55 Swede and T3Hunter wood stock in 9.3x62 both good shooters.
