VLDs Don’t Fit in Ammo Case

Go to Harber freight buy you a small hard case similar to the pelican case and make your own holder on a drill press. Just like the guys that shoot Cheytac's do.

    Building AR for long range

Well I agree with most of the statements here and have tried up all my receivers which helps significantly. I have only done a few of the undersized receivers for customers none for myself. As far as a different caliber for LR, I would sink alot into the 224 Valkyrie as I know Sierra had a bit...

Even Factory ammo can be over pressure!

Because of the work done on this rifle the ogive of the fusion bullet is different from the A-frame. So I suspect your throat is very tight hence the pressure problems.

Rebarrel - Average Cost - Estimate Remington 700

If you already own the action I think around $900 to blueprint and barrel it. But that price might include some other things that would be done at the same time. Threaded barrel, .250 lug drilled and pinned, and the bolt modified for an M16 extractor.

    25-284 change my mind

I think it would be interesting only if you got a tighter twist barrel to run the newer 25 cal Blackjack bullets at 131gr. Apparently they have a G7 of .330. That would give that 25 something to do down range.

    In Stock @ Midway

Pricing is crazy, GB isn't the issue. Went to a guns show on Friday. A $1 a round for 45acp & 40 S&W. $60 to $80 a pound on pounder and the funny thing is they were in metal cans from the 70s, very little newer plastic jugs. Also, primers $200 a brick. Now while I do believe in capitalism, I do...

    300 wby help

So my first thought is what kind of chamber is it? Conventional long throat WBY or shorter one. If it's a shorter one then give those LRAB a 60 thousand jump and push them hard. If it's a conventional WBY long throat chamber, if it was me set the barrel back and make it a shorter throat.

    6.5 STW or 26 Nosler

Well I like the input here so far. I already own a custom 264 Win Mag. But I am a 6.5 nut anyway. The Nosler is definitely the new cartridge on the block and will be up and coming in the availability of brass. The STW is available. I heard Nemo Arms was sent a reamer from Nosler so we may...

    6.5 STW or 26 Nosler

OK not sure if this is a good place for this thread or not but we'll start somewhere. While there is plenty of load data on 6.5 STW, I am trying to decide whether or not the 6.5 STW or a 26 Nosler would be a good build. So I'm just looking for pros and cons. So if anyone has any experience...
