I shoot Hornady ELD-X 145 grain loaded with 62.0 gr H4831 from my Blaser R93 chrono 3025 fps. Drops 8 inches at 300 yards and 25 inches at 400 yards.

Began doing it last year at 70.. I took a 15 3/4” pronghorn in New Mexico, and a 29” aoudad in Texas. Bought my dream gun which is a Blaser in .300 wsm. Will do elk in the Gila in New Mexico in October.

So I recently found some LRX bullets in 200 grain .30 caliber and thought I would use them in my .300 wsm. Then I found Barnes data saying to use them in 1:9 twist only. My wsm is 1:10. So do I return those bullets or will they stabilize when fired from a 1:10 twist? How would the 200 gr LRX...

My favorite is 140 gr Barnes TTSX in 7mm08 over 42 gr 4064 particularly superb penetration for rear end running away shot where penetration is critical. Heart shots for long distance broadside and head shots for close range with nearly any bullet.
