I had the same problem with 50 338 Edge cases, neck thickness was all over the place, I was just about changing the neck bushing for every case to get anywhere near consistent neck tension, went back to forming 300 Rum cases which were excellent...For Rem cases !!

I've had this problem with 7mm rem mag,, Light firing pin strike was the problem...An easy fix for a savage 110, just adjust it to the correct position.....

It's probably repairable, but its a long tedious job, but if the stock fits you, why not have go at fixing it yourself with marine tex & working it back to where it should be... There is no way you could make it worse....

I have the same with a semi custom 7mm rem mag with match grade barrel, my gun runs the same velocities in the reloading manual with 4-6 grains below listed starting loads.. but it shoots great so I've stopped chasing the tail of the dragon & just use it as it is......

I should add that the rifle's more than capable of making the shot, it's me I test everyday I hunt which is 3-4 times a week & I practice on the range every day,subject to weather....So it's a check that I'm up to the job & equipment check also...

I started with a beam balance (ohaus) used it without fail for 20 years before buying a RCBS charge master which was pretty good most of the time, BUT as time wore on it began getting a little erratic,so I started using the beam balance to check the weights it was showing, +or -1/10 of a grain...

Hi gents, after a bit of advice re how far I can expect the Bullseye camera system to work.. At the moment it's fine out to 1200 mts, but go out to 1400 & it loses contact with the camera, Is there a system that will reliable get to a mile (1600 mts) Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

After making that post I had a good look at the Vortex Razor, going by the specs it would seem my concerns re the size of the subtensions is not an issue on the 1st focal plane scopes, I'm still sitting on the fence though re 1st v 2nd focal plane..I don't like to mess with my tried & true...
