    H4350

There's a little IMR 4350 on the shelves in certain place where I live....I use RL-22 and found a supply back around the first of the year....Bought several pounds, I'm set for a while...

    300 win mag load question?

Glad to hear your groups tightened back up...

    What to buy

What to buy?? If working on your bow is paramount you will find that a recurve will be easier....Most recurves have higher draw weights to achieve high speed than most compounds as well....BUT with the good cocking aids available makes this somewhat easier.....Recurves are also louder than most...

120 Nosler BT effective on deer?

The 120 gr Ballistic Tip is a formidable killer due to this thicker jacket for sure....Steve Timms has some awesome experiences with these bullets...It would behoove anoyone to do a search on what kind of success he had with the 120 gr BT if thinking about using these bullets...

    300 win mag load question?

I've never noticed any appreciable difference in accuracy out of my 280 when using RL-22 in hot weather......

    I like 7828 or either RL-22 with a 150 gr BT

    300 win mag load question?

When's the last time the rifle has interfaced with some copper cleaner??? I've got a rifle that'll shoot in the low 3's on most days, but after about 35-40 rounds it "opens" up to 1- 1.5 inch groups, all because of fouling....

    imr 7828ssc in 7mm-08

There's better powders for the 7/08 than 7828 but if that's all you have then you must make do with it....4350 is good, but H414 is as well, along with W748. IMR4064....The 7/08's Ive had really shined with 4350 either version, with 4064 running a close second..

120 Nosler BT effective on deer?

The 120 BT is a good choice for the 7/08.....It has a thicker jacket than a 140 or 150 gr BT.....The thicker jacket was derived from silhouette shooters complaining about the thin jacket on the original version 120 BT would not knock the "steel" over at longer ranges due to fragmenting....This...

120 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip velocities

Magnum calibers were designed to push heavier bullets....Of course with the "super bullets" that are available in todays world it makes the magnums more appealing and useful than ever....However, magnums make it imperative that one choose their bullets wisely or risk failure.... Standard...

    Primers: Buy Now or Wait?

If you can find components that you use, buy them if you need them....In my area some reloading components are becoming a little easier to get.....I don't shoot near as much as I use to but a couple of years back I "laid up" several thousand primers "just in case" of hard times....

    Moly coated bullets

Moly is a pain to get out of a barrel, but with that being said, it does work....As someone alluded to, all bullets that have a coating is not "moly", such as the Nosler Ballistic Silver tip bullets.....That coating is Lubalox and is not "moly" as some people call it....It does lower pressure a...

    Powder for 7mm mag?!

Back when I owned a 7 mag RL-22 gave me the best performance with bullets in the 150-160 gr range, while IMR 4350 seemed to work just a skosh better with 120-140 gr bullets.....There's no "hard and fast rules" but you will probably find that the slower powders, RL-25, IMR-7828, H-1000, and the...

    Fired case hard to eject

It very well could be the annealing process as mentioned, but if I was a betting man, which I'm not, I would lean towards high pressure.....That sticky bolt is like a rattlesnake buzzing, it's a warning.....Don't continue on and let it bite you.....
