Canvas cheek piece with pouch supplier?

I like the ones black hawk makes. Comes with a pouch, ammo slots, and has a nice positive feel for cheek weld.

    load data needed

I have to bump the shoulder on every firing on my 270WSM. I've read this to be common on the WSM's for the most part. No big deal, bump the shoulder.

    Redding type S bushing size

Thanks for the reply's guy's. I use Redding bushing dies becuase they work. I used standard dies before, but I wanted to get away the expander ball. I get good accuracy using the bushing die's out of my 270WSM, so I stick with what I know. I'm no expert and I don't spend the money or time...

    Redding type S bushing size

Well I may be in the ballpark, probly end up using the 311. I'm going to be using factory winchester brass. I purchased 5 boxes of 140 grain power points to break in the rifle, and get some brass. I haven't even shot it yet. I'm still waiting for my scope (Nikon Monarch Gold 1.5-6X42), my...

    Redding type S bushing size

Well, I was anxious to place my order, so I just ordered the Redding type S FL sizer with the 3 middle bushings (309, 310, and 311) for 7mm and the competition bullet seater. I also ordered the RCBS chargemaster 1500 combo and a few other odds and ends. I'm looking forward to some new toys...

    Redding type S bushing size

Hello to all, I just purchased a Remington Model 7 youth in 7mm-08 for my short range tracking rifle. I'm getting ready to order some dies and reloading equipment for this setup. I'm getting a FL Redding type S die and wanted opinions on which bushings to order. I figured I'd get 2 or 3 so...

    Loads for .270 WSM

I like Retumbo and the 140grn AB. I don't have any data in front of me, and I wouldn't want to guess. Shoots .5" or less @ 100 with my factory pencil neck stick.

Winchester mod 70 Push feed vs Controlled round feed?

On the CRF vs. CRPF action subject; Which to people perfer and why? Are there any benefits to one over the other? I have a CRF that's as smooth as silk, but no experience with a CRPF. Thanks, (sorry to hijack your post, looks like you got your info)

    handloading for 270WSM

I also like the Accubonds. They shoot very well in my rifle. I'm using Retumbo. I had better velocity using Magpro, but my ES's were way too high and my groups were inconsistant. Some time this summer I'm going to try H4831SC and some H1000 to see if I can get some better velocity. I get...

    Range frinders can I ask?

Using a Nikon Monarch 800 I haven't had a problem ranging rocks, trees, bushes, critters out to 500 or 600 yards in any conditions. But that seems to be max in less than ideal conditions. In ideal conditions, I've been able to range trees at 800 - 850. I believe the difference in the...

    reloading question

I have found the same situation as you. With my Redding FL S-type die, I setup the die as recommended, 1/2 turn off my shellholder, resized a case and chambered it. Very sticky. Worked the die down (toward the shellholder) in small increments resizing a case and chambering it each time. I...

    US Optics?

Are all these scopes that much better than the Nikon Tactical's? I don't see people mention these very often. I'm very happy with mine, but then again, I haven't owned any of the others listed. I'm curious on opinions.

    Big Game Round Help Needed

GiJoe, I think the reason most people DON'T put dangerous game and long range in the same sentence is that guides and people want shots that are 100%. No wounded animal to go into the bush after, wondering if it's going to attatck you at 10ft. 200-300 yds or less, seems to be the norm (from...

    Scopes to use at Night

Nikon makes a good Monarch Gold 2.5-10X56. This Gold series uses the same optics as the Tactical Series I believe. I picked up a 1.5-6X42 Monarch Gold for my muzzleloader yesterday. Seems just as clear as my Tactical. German #4 reticle is pretty cool too.
