The 25 cals. are underrated in my opinion. I have a 250 sav. in a Remington 788. Love it! Very accurate, efficient and easy to shoot. Not the fastest but reliable and easy to load for. The 257 Roberts is a great choice also. Good luck with whichever you choose.

I haven't used Accubonds in my 308. If you are wanting pass thro the 165s will do that for sure at your range. I use 150 gr. SSTs in my rifles and only had one out of 10 or so not exit. Most dropped right where they stood. The Accubonds work great on my 7mm tho.

My rifles are from 1.5 to 2. I have a Russian rifle with a 1.75 and it went from a 2 inch gun at 100 to a.5 inch.
