    Which is better bedding??

    I was told one could use jb weld to bed a rifle. I used it on a HS precision stocked savage rifle once and it did seem to work very well. However I did prep the fiberglass well with sand paper to get good adhesion.

    Caliber choice

    I would be sure to pick a caliber that has reasonable priced ammo like the 7mm rem. You want to be able to shoot it with out braking the bank. Even if you are hand loading component cost equates to the ability to shoot a few hundred on an outing or a couple of boxes.

    Stock opinions, please!

    Magpul pro series seems to be a nice option. My local Scheels had one that was a folder for $650 on clearance. It was tempting. but I did not have a rem sa at the time.
