I'll give another vote for McMillan with edge fill. My magnum length pre 64 winchester in a McMillan a3 shorter with a number 3 Bartlein 26" 300 winchester 3-18 z6 Swarovski comes in at 11.5lbs. I'm pretty confident that the same stick with their edge technology would have shed a pound of weight.

I would take a look at the 2.5-25 or even the 5-50 March scopes. I have a fixed 50 a 10-60 and an 8-80 and they are very good scopes. Out of numerous nightforce from 12-42br 12-42nxs and 15-55 comps that have shot loose over the years knock on wood the only March that has been sent back was...
