I have no idea. Never thought of doing it for money. Mine come out pretty crude looking but functional. My guess is that if I took my time and did it right, no-one would want to buy it at a price that I could work for.

I checked out the Sharp Shooters site and those kits are Sahuweeet! I'm an airplane mechanic, so I could actually have a switch barrel Savage with all the tools and stuff I have access to. That way I could have all the short actioned guns I want!

I'm making my own out of sheet aluminum and customized foam cut-outs. But then I'm an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic experienced in metal work.

I have a Savage 10FP in .308 that shoots great. I would like a gun just like it, only with more oomph. Would it make sense to cut a new chamber for something like .300 WSM, screw in another barrel in a caliber that will cycle in this action, or just sell it and get another rifle in a bigger...

I use Krylon Ultra Flat. Available at your local Wal-mart or auto store for right around $3 a can. Holds up fairly well, provided you wipe down the rifle good with alcohol or some other solvent that will strip the oil but not the finish off your gun.

At Grafenwohr, which is the Army's main gunnery range in Europe, all sorts of critters feed from the baseline to the target line, while 120mm and 25mm goes off all around. Occassionally, a Red deer or pig is mistaken for a target at night, and is hit by accident, or they are run over by a tank...
