MT Antelope Special Draw ...

Drew a buck tag. Non successful on B tag. Paper came with the tag that says no does tags can be purchased with the tag I drew like they use to do. Due to declining population in the area.

FEENIX, Maybe you should look into a trip to WY. for an antelope or 2 or 3.

Jeff,

Yep, my friend has been trying to convince me for quite some time now but he only bow hunts and I am nowhere near his caliber.

I might start checking into it for next year (rifle season) though, any area/unit recommendation? Thank you in advance.

Ed, if you are like me and looking for tasty antelope meat there are some areas with surplus doe fawn tags left over. You can buy 3 or 4 OTC and they are under $40 non-res. I would just research those areas , take a few days with a good map or GPS, buy a tag and find a place to scout and hunt. You should be able to work this into an annual hunt that is a lot of fun.
