Elk Log Dinner

Ingredients: Sorry not very good in following recipes.

Fresh dice 2 garlic (2 TBSP) and onions (1/2 med), black pepper (2 TBSP), sriracha sauce (squirts [:p]), soy sauce (1/2), 2 freshly beaten eggs, ~ 2C of shredded Mexican 4 cheese blend. Mix thoroughly then divide in fourths. Place in foil and roll into a log with a hard boil egg in the middle (optional), twist end to secure. Steam for ~30 minutes or bake in 375F for 30-45 minutes.

Topped the elk log with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, served it with brown rice; baby kale, chard, baby spinach salad with blood orange olive and pear balsamic vinaigrette ... and of course a merlot to wash it down.

Look's delicious Feenix! Thanks for the recipe, the only thing I'd change is the wine,I'm a bit more of a Shiraz fan...Cheers

I like shiraz too, just about anything red including blends. I'm no wine snob and don't discriminate the white (or other spirits for that matter)
for the right food pairing. :cool:

Looks excellent, thanks or sharing the recipe! This would probably also go great for breakfast especially if you used some elk breakfast sausauge or elk chorizo!
