Has anyone ever used or heard of Craig's Custom Rifles out of Arizona? I been talking to Kyle and I am thinking on having them build me a custom rifle. I have had a very bad Experience with deadly precision rifles, Lorenzo Young. I don't want to repeat that again. So if anyone has any feedback I would like to hear from you.

Roger

Roger, I am getting a 7 lrm built as we speak from craigscustomrifles. Kyle has been great to deal with up to this point. He has answered a pile of questions and kept me in the loop throughout the process.

I would not hesitate to order another through CCR

I know of a few rifles that have been built by Kyle. Both a buddy and I both have rifles being built by Kyle. From all the research I have done from the 3 people I know with his rifles he builds a quality rifle. Not sure where you live bun my rifle will hopefully be done in a couple mts and you are more than welcome to check it out. I will post pics of the rifle and the groupings I get.

Chris

Thanks for the replies, I put a deposit down for a 6.5 x 284 ! Got to pick my stock and colors , can't wait! Please keep me in the loop with your builds and let me know how they shoot.

Roger

I had kyle build a 6.5 creedmoor last year. I recieved it in september and shot a spike at 840 yards and a cow elk at 900 yard in October. When I first got the gun it had a ptg bottom metal and the gun didn't feed very well. Kyle was great to work with he sent me a hs precision trigger guard. I was able to send him the ptg back and some money to make up the extra cost of the hs trigger guard. It feeds great now and with 130 gr bergers it almost always holds half moa. I would work with him again.

Haha ya it takes a little more practice. Every time i try and post pictures with my ipod it puts them upside down...

So what happen with Deadly Precision Gunsmithing? I was thinking about sending my rifle to them glad I saw this first!

It's, been20 months and I have not received my rifle or scope! Over a month ago Lorenzo said he would just refund my money back, that has not happen either! Lorenzo will not return my calls or texts, I asked him to at least send my scope back, even COD, that was over 3 weeks ago and have not heard a word. I have filed fraud report the Utah attorney general and with the ATF. It's hard for me to understand how someone who was looked up to and even Admire on this form could conduct a business the way he dose. At the very least ,Lorenzo is a big disappointment !!!

Great shooting!! Did you consider the 6.5 284. Caliber at all? What barrel contour and length did you get? The rifle looks good even upside down! Lol

Yes I did. My brother had an almost identical gun built in 6.5-284 at the same time except his had black with grey splat molded into the stock. That's a great caliber but I wanted something different that would kick a little less and hopefully have a little better barrel life.

Update!
Got a text from Deadly Perision Gunsmithing,(DPG) today! Lorenzo Young said he would mail back my scope today, very cool. I will keep this form informed as to when it arrives.

Kyle just finished this up for me. Cant wait to get my hands on it. Good guy to deal with.
