hi, it is set up like a savage with the barrel nut but threaded for a remington 700.
the barrels are threaded ,chambered and crowned. you would need a barrel wrench and headspace gauges to install them. it also saves you money by not needing a gunsmith.
barrel blank $350
gunsmith $250-$300
criterion ready to install $350
of course you need the tools but thats a one time cost made sense to me.
the tools i have will work on savage or remington
thanks for looking

Never tried to work up a load. Shot them a little bit.
Got a project I need to fund. They shot around 3/4" to 1"

So these will fit/work on a remington ? Or is the more needed it to put one on ?
Thanks Robert

A shooting friend of mine recently went this route. He also had to have a gunsmith machine a notch in his Remington receiver face to accept a Savage style recoil lug.

I would of had the recoil lug pinned instead of notched. All my Remington's were pinned. I have 1 Remmy left in .300 RUM. Everything else is a Savage, they all shoot as good or better then my Remingtons.

I will take one if still available. Do you have the barrel nut for them?
