You can print drop charts directly from it.

The face page of Long Range Hunting has a tab for a pretty good ballistics calculator. That's the one I use.

I don't use drop charts any more but do have one with me in case the iPhone craps out. I use both QuickLoad and the Exbal software to crunch the numbers and compare then I take that data into Microsoft Excel to clean it up and get rid of everything that I don't need and add what I do need. The last step for me is to take the cleaned up data into Auto Cad to size and print. I print it just big enough to read.
The chart usually ends up in 3 columns. First is yardage in 20 yard increments starting at 300 yards out to 800 (my max on game). The second is come up's in MOA and the 3rd is come up's in MOA at 20 degrees. I don't use a chart for wind.
The bottom line is to have a ballistics program on your computer so you can get drop charts cleaned up and printed without all the stuff you don't need on them. The links below are what I use. I use QuickLoad the most.

The Hornady chart prints out in a short top to bottom chart which can be laminated with two pieces of Mylar packing tape. Did one for a friend who has a 7mm RemMag Tikka and Vortex in which we chronograghed factory Superformance 162gr SST ammo. He hangs it on a neckstrap with his license pouch. The PH at hunting camp in CO thought it was a good idea. His goes to 500 yards as that is a personal limit for him, even with a laser RF. The compensations are in MOA so he reads the scope changes directly in clicks. I think that is a very important detail for a field drop chart. Scopes read in MOA and nobody does the inches-to-MOA in their head.
I'll bet most PH's would prefer their clients had a hard copy of the trajectory of the ammo they are using to refer to.
kcebcj: The mountains of Western Washington have three company smartphones from guys my wife works with. Not something most of us do but its something else that screws up the smartphone thing. Hope those schmucks treat their truck keys better...

I started the iPhone thing and the app "Shooter" two winters ago. Still working on developing a good fast smooth system when calking a shot. The iPhone is a old phone that is not in service so if I do add it to the mountains of Western Idaho no big deal. Honestly I have not seen a big advantage in using it though as I live where I hunt so the drop chart is quite accurate. I will fool with it a lot this summer and fall and see how things turn out.

The ballistic calculator on this site is excellent, and offers both full detail drop charts as well as field cards that can be calibrated for any alt/temp setting you need.

The app on your smartphone, called "Shooter" is well worth the money. It is actually really cool and works really well. For printing out cards I usually just use the above Vortex G7 calculator.

I think a range card is easy to come by these days and you can laminate it for about $2 at any Office Depot. They take up no space and little weight in your pack as a backup whenever your electronic ranging and ballistics system makes an excursion into the function of Ceases to Report Accurate Parameters and Solutions. I refer to this by the acronym C.R.A.P.S

I use real range-tested drops and wind drifts simply put into Excel and printed off, then taped to the left side of my right-handed rifle stock.

I've finally gotten to the point that I need/ want a good range card for my 6.5 Creedmoor. I see there are some good ones made for the 308, 300, + 338 L.
Unfortunately I haven't found any for the 22 , 6 , 6.5 , 270 , 284 ect.
Does anyone know of anywhere that sells them.
I'm thinking I'm gonna have to make my own. But would vastly prefer to buy one.
