another scam with wolf reintroduction

The article "Are the northern Rockies in a predator pit" by Toby Bridges indicates the same thing as well as the manipulation of wolf science by the USFWS to justify the introduction of an invasive wolf species.

I just saw where the US Government billed Wyoming $6.3 million for wild fires. Wyoming should bill the US Government for the destruction of their elk herd. I know that here in Texas the wildlife belongs to the state. I would assume that its the same in Wyoming. It was the USWFS that manipulated science and stole from the Pitman-Robertson fund to illeagaly introduce an invasive wolf species. Hmmmm, food for thought.

I really like this idea. The only problem is, who does it really punish?

Tax payers.

I paid into the taxes that made the Pitman-Robertson fund (as did we all) that were illegally used to reintroduce wolves in Yellowstone. And where will the Federal Government get the money to pay the states for the loss of these animals?

Taxes.

So I'll just get billed twice, or rather I should say that I'll just get screwed twice...

You make sense and may be right. My view is the screwing is pretty much ongoing with little or nothing to lose. As that money was taken from the states the states are looking at us (licenses) to make it up.

There are likely crimes in the middle os this, but no one will go to jail. If someone with standing would bring a lawsuit, it might slow some of the Feds intrusion. When a conservative congress threatened USFWS budget. The agency got way less vocal about the wolves, and dropped their objection to de-listing.

It is my opinion that the federal government should defend our borders and let the states manage themselves. If Idaho wants wolves......or not, they should decide! It might seem impossible, but if we don't take back our country the feds will become our dictators. Allowing local governments to manage themselves would be better. Just my opinion.
