I have 5# of US 869 and Im been looking for a load with this powder. Im loading Barnes TSX 285gr Boattail and Hornady SST 225gr. Please Help Me

You are barking up the wrong tree on this one. That powder is WAAAAAAAAAAY TOO SLOW to work in the .338 Win Mag, which does its best work with powders more appropriate to the 30-06.

Unless you are loading for a .50 BMG or a smaller chambering that is HUGELY overbore, US869 isn't going to work. It is just about the slowest powder in existence:

Burn Rate

Your best bet is to sell it to a .50 cal shooter or try to trade it for a couple pounds of H4350, H4831, or RL-19.

For my Tikka 338WM H 4350 or the other two 4350s for any thing over 185 gr. as well as Hodgdon SUPERFORMANCE for 185 gr. Hornady GMXs.gun)
Good luck.

lightbulb.....on another subject the Orange Bowl is not going to be another 70 / 33 is it??? LOL:rolleyes:

Us 869 good for 338 Lapua

Suggest Reloader 19 for 225 grain or Reloader 17 in 338 Win Mag

Reloader 22 for 250's or H4831

285 made for Lapua not 338 Win Mag

225 very good in 338 Win Mag

I have a couple 338WM rifles.
This is typical trip to the range with a 24" barrel:

250 gr Nosler Gold Partion, moly 69 gr H4350, 3.34"
2645 fps
2599
2645
