After yesterdays trip to the range to do some load developement on a few customer rifles and shoot a few of our own I thought we ought to have a post with groups that make you go awww

Here is one to get it started 3 shot group @ 100 yards Snowy MTN Rifle first load I tested out of the rifle

Heres the specs on "Shrek"

This 338 Lapua Rifle tips the scales at 9.5 LBS. We used a Proof research Carbon Wrapped barrel, SMR single shot action, SMR SS 20 MOA Rail, Mcmillian M40-A stock, SMR Muzzle Break. Cerakoted OD Green Barreled action to match the stock.

Here ya go, 2 targets out of the same rifle on different days.

The first is a 3 shot prone group out of a semi-custom .308 Win I put together. 168 NBT .116" group


The second is the same load 168NBT and rifle only at 718yds:


Same rifle, different load 175 Nosler Custom Comp, 683 yard, held head shot:

Thanks, ES is in single digits and honestly I don't remember what the SD was I'm sure it's in my notes somewhere.

Both groups were about 5" off point of aim so I was happy with that.
