Which Tonneau Cover?

I am going to put a soft roll up Tonneau cover on my pickup but not sure which one to get. It is between the Access and the truxedo. anyone have experience with either?

FWIW, i HAD the Access t. cover, until some asshat used a knife to cut it and try and steal all the "stuff". Found the "stuff" , but have since went with a MOBILESTRONG truck bed storage system, and don't worry about it.

I've got a couple of the Truxedo's, both over the rail types. I have had no problems with either. One is only a couple months old and the other is 3 years old.

it was ok, but a real PITA to have to open and close to get stuff out of the front of the box. As a way to keep stuff dry from point a to point b they work, but if you are in and out of the box a lot, or carry odd height (ATV/elk/etc.) a pain.

I had a Truxedo cover on my GMC1500 and it was well made and the look and fit were excellent. Having said that, I now have a Ram2500 and put a Roll-n-lock cover on it and it is great also and is much easier to use than the Truxedo, but the difference between the two is that I wouldn't dream of leaving valuables under the Truxedo but they are safe under the roll n lock. The Roll-n-Lock is about $2000 and the Truxedo was about $440 if I remember correctly.

the 6' mobilstrong unit is under 1900.00, and you can park a 4 whlr. on top of it, still use the bed, and the drawers hold a TON of gun's and "stuff".

I have the Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit Roll Top. This thing is great and easy to use and install. Its also very secure and water tight. Cost is around $1200.

Hands down Agri-cover which I believe makes the access 98% sure. I've had three on three different rigs, my friend has one. Logging isn't easy on anything and they held up amazing for me. Their gaurentee ain't no joke either. I cut a hole in one with my saw and they sent me a new top. Very impressed. Held up to snow very well, kept everything dry and out of sight for prying eyes. I carried three $1500+ saws in the back nt to mention all my other tools and gear and I had no worries parking in front of the bar. All my friends would chain their stuff up. They are easy to take off and put on too, they roll up completely out of the way. My only complaint is when the Velcro would get wet and then freeze and I would open it up it seemed to tear the loops in the Velcro you know how it does after lots of use. but I'm sure they would replace that too.
If you couldn't tell I cannot say enough good about them. I've seen the other tonneau covers on other rigs and they are joke flimsy and ugly in my opinion!

I have 100% the opposite experience. And if your carrying the "odd" stuff mentioned just leave it rolled up. That's the beauty of it. I left it up most of the time in the summer. When down, however, it kept the contents (beer on ice) cooler. Another thing that was cool with it was one day I left it rolled up and it snowed on all of my saws and stuff I'm talking a pickup full of tools and everything else. when I got home I just rolled it down locked it in, put two halogen lights in there shut the tailgate & everything was bone dry by morning
Started drying things in the back with a propane heater when camped out, after that.
