The Shell Rotella ad, at the top of the page, says the average American works 13,000 a year. Divide that by 52 weeks and you get 250 hrs. per week. Divide that 250hrs. by 7 days in the week. Since when are there 35.7 hours in a day?

It's probably a typo by marketing peeps; an average American drives 13,000 miles (instead of works) per year.

According to the goobermint, an average American drives 13,476 in 2011 >>> Average Annual Miles per Driver by Age Group
